[font="Courier"]Rapper 50 CENT has lashed out at fellow hip-hop star KANYE WEST for accusing US President GEORGE W BUSH of racism in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.

The IN DA CLUB star believes human intervention could not have prevented the effects of the hurricane, which killed over a thousand people in the US gulf states in August (05), and sees no point in reprimanding the President for something which was beyond his control.

He says, "The New Orleans disaster was meant to happen. It was an act of God.

"I think people responded to it the best way they can.

"What KANYE WEST was saying, I don't know where that came from."

while i dont care for his music and his lyrics to his songs, i have a teeny tiny bit more respect for him..at least he's not blaming the President for something that was beyond his control like most dumb people are.

I see it as another stunt to start beef with Kanye since 50 is known as the beef starter.

First he disses Ja Rule, then the Game, Fat Joe, and now Kanye.

He needs to stop before someone puts some more bullets in him and he will never be able to rap about it in another song.

The state of hip hop is in peril.

Eminem also has flashes of lyrics kind of like that...the one chorus to a song "evil deeds" from his most recent cd "encore".
"father please forgive me for I know not what I do, I just never had the chance to ever meet you, therefore I did not know that I would grow to be, my mother's evil seed and do these evil deeds" (although he might have been talkin about his dad)

also in the song:
"please God, give me the strength to have what it takes to carry on, till I pass 50 back the baton, the camera's on, my soul is gone"

the thing i like about 50 is that you never hear him makeing songs about how the goverment issued aids( aka kanye west) , or all that farakan black power stuff......50 is usually always rapping about subject matter that is a reality of a sin indulged world we all live in.....now im not praising him by any means...because in my opionon he glamorizes the gangsta lifestyle to much of the time.....which is terrible.........the thing i like about him though is so far he hasnt come across as racist or a person who despises the president ( btw a president that God put in office for a reason) his movie looks interesting to........i'll prolly check it out........

I was watching a documentary about hip hop beefs, and KRS-ONE made a good point about how the entire point of rap battles to begin with was so that people didn't have to pick up a gun. You could show who's the man with knowledge and creativity, rather than violence. Some people need to be reminded of that.

i agree with ya..................plus....if 50 really made those comments about the bush kanye thing......then he's speaking like a mature adult.....it has nothing to do with publicity........he has so much of that anyhow.......i wish he would go at kanye actually........kanye pisses me off.........

He's not dissing him. He's calling Kanye on his carp.

I have a bit more respect for him now. Just a bit.
