Theologian in Training Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 (edited) I desperately need prayers. i am in the 11th hour and tonight we have that talent show in which I am going to be a clown, however, some of the stuff I ordered never arrived and so I need to make up a new routine. More urgently, however, is the fact that I have to do a toast for the newly ordained priests. I have never written a toast and have no idea what to say. Prayers much needed Edited November 3, 2005 by Theologian in Training
Guest T-Bone Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 You're going to toast the priests in a clown suit? You do need prayers...

Cow of Shame Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 "May you die peacefully in your sleep, like my grandfather....not screaming in terror like the rest in his carpool"

Theologian in Training Posted November 4, 2005 Author Posted November 4, 2005 Thank you all both things went well. The toast was good, and they liked the balance of humor and seriousness and the clown act (which was later, after I changed out of clerics) went incredibly well also. Thank You again God Bless

philothea Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 Very cute! Thanks for the pictures! I like the second one best.
1337 k4th0l1x0r Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 How to do a toast: Step 1. Put bread in toaster. Step 2. Toast the bread. More toasts: "A toast to toast - breakfast wouldn't be the same without it." "To our wives and girlfriends. May they never meet." (probably not appropriate for a group of celibate men)
