Judgement

I was discussing with my friend. He says that in the General Judgement ,those still living stand before God in their bodies, while those dead just stand as souls. Is he correct? But I thought that the souls from heaven and hell will get their bodies back too?

I mean, there will be the resurrection of the body, right?

i dont know if we're exactly sure of the sequence of events. it is true that we will all receive our resurrected bodies, but i don' t know if its before or after the General Judgment. i'll have to do some research on this......
