Weeping Statues

How should Catholics treat these kind of situations? There is a St. Pio statue weeping in Italy right now causing some controversy and raising questions.

How should Catholics treat these kind of situations?

We should wait patiently until the bishop makes his investigation and declaration. If he decides that it is in fact supernatural, then we are allowed to believe it and venerate it.

If it's not...how could one be so stupid to create a hoax like that. Some people just do not have brains.

Last summer my family visited a house just outside Montreal where the statues and walls inside the home secrete oil. TONS of oil. They said it was incredible. I kinda want to go check it out. I don't want to be skeptical because I want to believe in the power of God, but I also don't want to go goo goo over this stuff.
