Sojourner Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 We're heading back to Foxboro tonight for yet another shot at beating the arrogant Patriots. This time, there's no doubt who's winning.

Pio Nono Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 JMJ 11/7 - Thirty-second Monday I don't want to talk smack, but the Pats just aren't a good team this year. To lose to them would be disgraceful (aiskron).

The Colts had better get over whatever mental block has kept them from winning in Foxboro before and get the job done tonight.

Sojourner Posted November 7, 2005 Author Posted November 7, 2005
The question is are you allowed to watch?
We've agreed that we'll start out watching, then change the channel if it starts to go poorly. Although that might not be the best course of action. The trauma of playing in Foxboro added to the pressure of me watching could just push them over the edge ...
Era Might Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 (edited) Ho-ho-hold on there. Arrogant Patriots? You confuse arrogance for excellence. The Patriots give the utmost respect to every opponent. But they win. They have the rings to prove it. When you have the rings, you have earned the right to stand above the rest. The Colts haven't played anyone this year; let's face it. The Patriots have had a brutal schedule, and half the team is injured. The Colts may very well win tonight. But it doesn't prove much. If the Patriots had their full team, there's not a snowball's chance in Florida that the Colts could win. And if they meet again in the Playoffs, Peyton will choke. Again. Who has Indy played? The Pats are decimated with injuries, and they're still among the best in the NFL. The dynasty continues. Not even the 49ers could win every year. But it's WAY to early to write the Pats off this year. Not with number 12 at the helms.

They went on to win the Super Bowl. : They haven't lost anything. Like I said, NO dynasty won every year. There were years the 49ers didn't even make the playoffs. They were still a great dynasty. Just like the Pats. Edited November 7, 2005 by Era Might

Don't be so sure. Offensively, we're MUCH better. We're the number 1 offense in the league this year. Defensively, no, we're not as good, but the season is young. When Randall Gay (cornerback) gets back, Richard Seymour may be back tonight, and the unit starts getting in a groove together, with the new guys grasping the full system, we'll be good to go. We have the best QB in NFL history. We can fight with anyone in the NFL. Edited November 7, 2005 by Era Might
