Lil Red Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 http://www.thepunkpriest.com i think it's kinda cool. his conversion story (or maybe re-conversion rather) is very powerful.
photosynthesis Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 it doesn't seem like any of the links work.
Lil Red Posted November 10, 2005 Author Posted November 10, 2005 i tested all the links...they are working for me.
photosynthesis Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 hmm... maybe it's the fact that i'm using Linux...

philothea Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 Just finished reading his vocation story. Very cool. God does have an extremely annoying sense of humor at times. I can so relate.

daugher-of-Mary Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 He's the pastor at one of the parishes my family attends. lol. And yes, he is a very cool guy. He ALWAYS includes the Mystery and Gift of the Eucharist in his homilies, no matter what he is talking about.
Extra ecclesiam nulla salus Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 hahaha everyone on the trad forum was talking about this guy. they all hate him. he seems to be somewhat un-catholic... Punk Priest? thats real dignifying.
Lounge Daddy Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 Dude! he digs on Blondie and Kim Wilde on vinyl! but seriously - from im reading he seems to be right on... its great how different people can bring different things to the table of the Lord and place them in the service of His Church
Laudate_Dominum Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 hahaa.. I'm not sure what to make of him. He seems like a good person, but I don't think we of the same sensibilities.

It never happened. I was just flapping my trap.

Socrates Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 I knew a guy they call the "Punk Monk." He's not really exactly a monk. though he's lived and worked in a monastery, and studied and taught in Rome. He was a punker, but very traditional Catholic. Never really dug his style, but I guess the Lord calls all types.
