philothea Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 I poke them with my rosary if they're not paying attention to my non-atheism.
photosynthesis Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 I really like to save the environment and recycle atheist magazines that I find around campus.
avemaria40 Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 My family and friends know only too well that I am not an athiest. It's just too obvious that I'm not

Ken Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 People have always I was an athiest. Especially the more religious people I knew. I just dont stick to organized religion. I believe there is something out there. I just dont know what it is.

If that's the case, of course...then a banquet is being served...why do you stop yourself from eating just because others don't want any more?
Tink Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 I think they'd probably wonder about my sanity if I was an atheist.... who bursts out into praise and worship incessantly.
zabbazooey Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 I could never be an atheist....again. I used to be one but then I came to my senses.

No, I was raised catholic, and didnt like being repremanded for asking simple questions (What about dinosaurs one I remember clearly). I was having Catholicism kinda crammed down my throught, but then I learned of the massive amount of corruption, and bloodshed caused by organized religions for thousands of years. The Crusades, The Inquisition, the conquest of the Americas, shooting abortion doctors, Palestinian childeren with bombs strapped to thier chests marching into a shopping mall, Isreali tanks firing into crowded tenements, just more things to turn me away. I just found it unnerving that these people who's beliefs were based on peace, could have so much blood on thier hands.

Anastasia13 Posted November 13, 2005 Posted November 13, 2005 I'd be a better deist than I would an atheist.
