Indeed, you can disable the ad by html but be careful, I believe it'll result in a banned acount. You can disable it by paying also.

I just joined the ranks of cultish myspace followers last night. Mostly just to make fun of it. My account is just full of ridicule. I'm really proud of it. It took me like all day to figure out how t o edit anything on that, but the end result is pretty cool. Pretty much everybody from my school has an account, so I'm just now getting all of us interlinked (well, getting myself in on the chain).

I am note sure about paying. THe money for MySpace supports the top pro-Choice buisnesses like Planned Parenthood. I really don't like the banners at all either ... bleh.

there are banners on Myspace sponsored by Planned Parenthood & other pro choice polls. it comes up various times when on myspace.

The first time I logged out of MySpace, about 60 other windows popped up and everytime I closed one and 5 more would pop up. It was so bad that I have to turn my computer off because I couldn't close the windows. So now I don't log off of it whenever I get on.

I feel the same way dUSt does about it...Although, it's also a GREAT promotional tool that CAN be used for good...

Like dUSt - I won't actively promote CS's MySpace page on CS.com, though.
