Lifeteen wanted Mass changes?

I've seen some references to Lifeteen wanting changes in the Mass. Now, I've only been in the Church a year, and I'm not a teen (or a lifeteener) although I have visited Lifeteen masses a few times. Anyways, I have no idea what these references are towrds.

Anyone care to inform me about this in a calm, Christian manner?

Lifeteen in the past [I hope its past ] had several practices such as gathering around the altar and changing the closing texts of the Mass which are not and never were permitted.
Since then they have been called to task for this and have or should have corrected these abuses.

What sort of changes to closing texts?

instead of the priest saying "The Mass has ended, go in peace" and the people saying "Thanks be to God"

the people were supposed to say in the lifeteen liturgy "the mass never ends, it must be lived, so let us go in peace. Thanks be to God"
