Hi, JP 2 said 'Jesus Christ is the redemmer of the world and the centre of the universe' I've been trying to penetrate his words and can see clearly how he is the redemme rof the world. But I'm stuck on the 'centre of the universe', surely the universe existed long before Jesus entered into history. Do this sort of presuppose mans creation and fall even before the universe was created?

Thanks

In a sense you are right, the universe did exist long before Christ. But only insofar as you are speaking of Christ Incarnate. Christ has existed from all time as the second person of the Trinity.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  He was in the beginning with God.  All things came to be through him, and without him nothing came to be. What came to be through him was life, and this life was the light of the human race; the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
