Unity Awards

The United Catholic Music and Video Association had their annual Unity Awards show this past weekend. Movies have the Oscars, TV has the Emmy's, Broadway has the Tony Awards, and at last - long overdue - Catholics have THE UNITY AWARDS!

There were only 3 nominations for rap/hip hop songs! I'm thinking we need to see some phatmass artists on that list next year! :

We were up for an award or two, but we didn't pay much attention to it. I think we'll have a pretty good shot in several categories next year though.

Was quality the reason that they gave you for not having you in the awards? They should take a gander at many of the people that are up for awards. Some of that stuff is ridiculous.

As far as paying your way in...not true. We found out that we were nominated for an award the week before the event happened.

basically anyone who as so "tries" to make a rap song will get into this catagory?

anyone whos been to a NCYC for the last 4 years KNOWS whats out there and its not that

who ARE these people? seriously the only people on these lists I've heard of are matt maher, Cheer up Charlie and scarecrow and tinmen...

all the others are a bunch of unknowns
