Boots!

I gotta say, I love boots! Anyone else love 'em and care to share what you wear?

To celebrate the first snow and ice of the season, I dug out 2 pairs of my boots and conditioned them. Mmm, yay!

My favorite are 14-eyelet black Doc Martens with purple eyelets and purple/black laces. Got them online for $50 clearanced. Another pair I inherited from my mom, vintage 70's tan ankle high hiking boots, bright red laces! I also have a "joke" pair of boots I've worn once. I found them for free and added a curly elf toe to them.

Yesterday I was thinking that I should buy a pair of plain black boots and lace them up according to the liturgical season. I found a website that sells an amazing assortment of bootlaces. : Or am I just crazy?

I only own rubber boots and work boots. Boots for warmth are not a necessity in Houston.

After one of my classes today, I saw a lady in high stiletto boots, I'm talking about 3.5-4 inch heel! I thought that was quite hazardous, considering how icy the sidewalks and parking lots are today!

Oh yeah, I forgot that I taught myself how to straight lace my boots, they look nice, though you can't lace them as tightly as crossing them does.

I love boots! they're my favorite shoes ever! My favorite pair of boots (and only good pair, lol) go up to midcalf, are about 2.5 inches to 3 inches high, and zip up. They're black and I absolutely love them.

i have two nice pairs of boots. one pair is black and the other is like a red stain (deep blood red/maroon with black shadows). i like them a lot.

Almost everyday I roll with the Doc Marten 6 eyelet ankle boots in black. I even have the high performance steel toe. They always set off the metal detectors but I get props when I tell 'em "Steel toe."

I've also got some military boots from the Air Force. I think they are called "Lineman's Boots". They are 12 eyelet and go halfway up my calf. They too, have the steel toe but in military grade.

Lastly, I have some 15 year old black Dan Post cowboy boots. They have been all over the country with me from the streets of L.A. to horseback riding in LA.

I sang the "I see the moon" song last night, though.

There was a rainbow around the moon, it was awesome! This big multi-colored ring of light with the moon at the very center, because of some thin misty clouds. :

i dont think that i have any boots but i do have a pair of marijuana (hemp) sandles!!!! they are 100% hemp...... i was going to put a pic. on but i could not get it to work....?

I really want a pair of combat boots. I've always had a thing with military stuff. They fit looser than normal combat boots to allow blood to flow better in the tankers relatively non-moving feet.
