Totus Tuus Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 I didn't understand a lot of the questions... I think that's why my results are so weird. Makes me look a lot more liberal than I am, I think
Melchizedek Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 You scored as Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan. Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan 86% Emergent/Postmodern 82% Neo orthodox 61% Charismatic/Pentecostal 61% Classical Liberal 43% Reformed Evangelical 39% Fundamentalist 39% Roman Catholic 36% Modern Liberal 32%
Didacus Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 You scored as Roman Catholic. You are Roman Catholic. Church tradition and ecclesial authority are hugely important, and the most important part of worship for you is mass. As the Mother of God, Mary is important in your theology, and as the communion of saints includes the living and the dead, you can also ask the saints to intercede for you. Roman Catholic 89% Neo orthodox 71% Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan 68% Fundamentalist 54% Charismatic/Pentecostal 43% Classical Liberal 43% Reformed Evangelical 36% Emergent/Postmodern 36% Modern Liberal 32% A lot of the questions where alien to me. Like the ones on 'this guy's' theology is important and I don't even know who 'this guy' is?! Other questions contained elements that in my reply would seem to contradict one another. I am not convinced of the result, and a bit disapointed. At least I scored Cahtolic...

zunshynn Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 I scored Catholic... but some of those questions... like "Private piety and devotion is more important than political and social action".... what are you supposed to say when they're equally important... although I would say just action... not political action
zunshynn Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005
Roman Catholic 93% Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan 79% Neo orthodox 79% Classical Liberal 43% Emergent/Postmodern 29% Reformed Evangelical 29% Modern Liberal 21% Charismatic/Pentecostal 21% Fundamentalist 14% Are we THAT CLOSE to the Wesleyan church?
Well I'd think we're closer to them than the others.... what is a neo orthodox?
Didacus Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 I am spending too much time into trying to figure Cahtolicism to spare any time on learning all those other religions... Too many good things to read for now... maybe I'll spend a bit of time later... maybe in a few years.
megrc Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 I'm 100% Roman Catholic. Some of those questions really made me think though.
homeschoolmom Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 Roman Catholic 86% with strong Evengelical leanings... big surprise...

I scored kinda high on postmodernism... haha... maybe because some questions I stuck the dot smack in the middle as I felt it was hard for me to answer. :
Myles Domini Posted November 22, 2005 Author Posted November 22, 2005 I think the social justice vs devotion think was an allusion to the rightful place of Liberation Theology. As for neo Orthodox I dont think it has anything to do with Eastern or Oriental Orthodoxy but more to do with the Radical Orthodox movement begun by John Milibank and the Cambridge theological scholars.

The strong evangelical and charismatic rendencies I suspected.
