While we are seeing strides and good will from Sam, I think that he should probably have to wait a little longer.

He did a lot of damage to his Catholic reputation and he should have to do some penance for it. The penance should be that he has to defend the Church with the phishy title for awhile.

There are still leanings in Sam. I think that those need to be solidified as orthodox before he loses the phishy title.

I wish Sam the best and I will do what I can to help him lose the title, but I don't think that it should be soon. He proved pretty easily that he was phishy, now he has a difficult road ahead, proving that he is orthodox.

I am going to have to agree with Cam here.

While I only participated a little in some of the frays about the Vatican II council and such, it took very little time for me to see how far Sam had strayed away. Now, I don't doubt that he genuinely wishes to be viewed as a faithful Catholic again, but I think that in order to be viewed as such, he should have to provide more proof of this in his actions and views, considering past damage caused.

Just my two cents. But, Sam, I know you are on the right path and truly do want to be a faithful Catholic again.

I want to assure you that I hold nothing against you as far as what you used to believe, but I think you must continue to reconcile yourself in order to be considered orthodox again.

its cool guys. thanks for the good luck. it seems that i do have to prove myself Faithful.

Although i am Faithful and i can prove that over a preiod of time it will be much harder for me to defend the church due to the fact that i am not educated in the ways of Apologetics.
