I'm not in school at the moment and I work 24-32 hours a week, nights. When I go back to school in January (PT), I'll probably be working 16-24 hours/wk. When I become a FT student in September '06, I'll probably still work about 16 hours/wk during the school year.

I find that having a job while going to school, even just a couple of days or evenings a week, really helps me stay focused and responsible as a student. Without a job I often have too much time on my hands, and get lazy about going to classes and doing my homework and stuff. Staying busy keeps me on the ball.
