Ash Wednesday Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 One of my favorite dogs is the beagle, but that isn't a purse dog So I vote for the schnauzer, too. They're awfully cute and friendly, too.
Jaime Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 I had a black lab terrier mix and it was the greatest dog in the world.

The Joey-O Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 English Cocker Spaniel! Great dog! Owned one once. Great dog!
jasJis Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 Perftect dog: Mini-dachsund. Ours is 9 lbs. Short hair. Extremely smart. It's hound, so it has a great personality. If they have longer legs, not the extreme short legs the show dogs have, it helps their back. Also, if you don't let them get fat, they rarely have back problems. We've had ours about 8 years. Great, great dog.

I had an English Cocker Spaniel also. Her name was Chanel. We had to put her to sleep. She was kind of mean and snobby though. More of a Mother's dog.
