1337 k4th0l1x0r Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 My wife and I were discussing this last night. We've both done it in the past and refuse to state which CDs we had thrown out.
Dreamweaver Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 All the CDs I got a long time ago that I would no longer care to listen to are boxed up somewhere in my parents' garage.
philothea Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 Not as such. Though I've packed away a couple so deeply that I've never found them again...
Proud2BCatholic139 Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 Yeah, because it was broken and I was mad.
Fixxxer Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 no because i dont listen to rap , emo, pop stuff so i dont have to worry about it
TheOliverOrder88 Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 Yep, many a time. Not for pride though, I had (and still have) a bad habit of buying bad music.
keighters Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 i've thrown out tons of cds mostly because i was trying to throw out all the garbage music that wasn't giving glory to God.... i'm so glad i did it.
Carrie Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005
All 4 One
I threw one of those away too!
Sojourner Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 I'm sure I have. Most often, though, I've sold them or lost them.
Matty_boy Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 I sent all of the CDs of pro-abortion bands back to the bands. I bet there's a whole landfill full of All 4 One cassettes and CDs.
1337 k4th0l1x0r Posted December 2, 2005 Author Posted December 2, 2005 I know people who actually had the Baja Men CD. That would be number one on my list to throw out and never look back.
zabbazooey Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 I've lost a lot of them. Good riddance, I say.
Brother Adam Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 Yeah....when I was a crazy fundie baptist we destroyed a limp bizkit cd and a korn cd. looking back it was a waste of money to buy them to destroy them. lol.
zealousrap Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 I prolly threw out like 50 secular rap cd's I had at one point
1337 k4th0l1x0r Posted December 2, 2005 Author Posted December 2, 2005 The question isn't really geared toward throwing out a CD because you don't listen to it anymore or because you have a moral problem with the band, but because you'd truly be embarassed if someone found out you ever owned the CD in the fist place. For example, if you bought Baja Men "Who Let the Dogs Out," you would probably be embarassed if a friend found it, so you'd throw it out.
sweetpea316 Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 I take them to the local book/music resale store and sell them back for some extra cash.
Funky_R Posted December 3, 2005 Posted December 3, 2005
I take them to the local book/music resale store and sell them back for some extra cash.
That's what I usually do, but there were some I was so embarrassed about, I threw them in a friend's garage sale for someone to maybe buy it. And someone actually did buy one. For a whole 2 dollars.
