just wondering :)

Well, I don't "just" kneel with two knees. I genuflect, then kneel, and do a kind of little bow......

Its whats done here :)

If I'm there for a while, I'll end up sitting.

On retreats I've also slept in the adoration room. (oops)

depends on what i am doing.

When i serve i just genuflect normally because that is what the priest wants me to do.

Otherwise it can be a double genuflection or an extremely long regular one, or sometimes a double genflection with a bow all the way to the floor.

I don't worry about it. Jesus knows i want to welcome him. :)

i mean when you first enter the room...

i genuflect, then kneel on both kneels for awhile, then sit down and pray.

I do the double genuflection (both knees).

Well, first I genuflect, then I get settled at a seat, then I go and kneel on the floor for a while, some of the time prostrate, if I want to read the Bible or something while there I may go back and sit down... I mix it up...

Where's the 'tripping on your own feet, hitting your head on a pew and ending up spread-eagled in the middle of the aisle" voting option?

uh....sorry, i didn't realize anyone did that kind of rare prostration. :P:

I'm always there at the beginning of adoration, so I'm on my knees already. If I'm there a long time, I sit. When I leave, I double kneel...

We don't have 24 hr. adoration yet, but we're working on it. We're also working on a children's adoration hour.

:cool!:

I've heard that those can be very successful. The children definitely know Who they've come to see.

What a blessing for your parish.

Many parishes have one hour set aside for families. Some of the most beautiful time I've spend in adoration is when I've been able see the face of Jesus in those children. Blessings and prayers for your parish as they work toward this goal.

I kneel, bow while being knelt, and then kiss the floor.

In adoration we are amongst the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords! That is why I kiss the floor. I'm sure some people think I'm crazy when they see me, but that's ok. Most think I'm crazy because I'm going to be a priest.

two knees on the ground for genuflection with a bow.

I genuflect and then kneel on both legs. If my knee starts to bug me though I usually sit down.
