HomeTeamFamily Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 for the longest time, ive tried to put on this ultra-catholic attitude when posting and ive found that i cant keep it up, so i have to be true to myself and revert back to my dry, sarcastic sense of humor if that means i get my church faithful revoked, so be it. im still catholic and love the faith, but dont want to be fake to you all apologies in advance if i offend anyone, i just think that if the pham dont like me because im not like super excited about catholicism all the time, then thats not on me [/whiny rant] flame away
prose Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 Well.. At least you told us before 3700 posts...
Piccoli Fiori JMJ Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 I don't talk this often normally, that is probably about the only thing different. It is normal to do something like that online. I wouldn't worry about it... we aren't all about the GIRM, Catechism, etc. 24/7 It seems like there is, but I just slide by on what I know, which isn't much... It is always good to see the real person come out. As long as you don't break forum rules, you are okay...
MilesChristi Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 You don't offend me at all. On the contrary, your honesty is impressive.

philothea Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 Pretty much the same, though different topics come up here from elsewhere, of course. (I will now be embarassed. Yes, I am a babbling twit in real life. Thank you very much.)

Ash Wednesday Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 I made it to Church faithful, and I've kept my dry, sarcastic humor all along. I don't think dUSt will strip you of anything. He thinks dog toes are cool.
Nathan Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 I generally speak my mind, although sometimes I do have to hold back on my sense of humor, which can be a little twisted at times (and hence, offensive to some).
morostheos Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 I think when I first started posting on PM I tried very hard to never say anything that might possibly be construed as not being faithful to the Church, because I wanted to be Church Faithful. But after a couple years I realized that was just being silly and I shouldn't worry about it and just be myself. So currently - yep, I'm pretty much the same. Quiet in general, but once I get warmed up I talk quite a bit!
