There was a lot of incence and everything was sung. It was absolutely beautiful.
tojo Posted December 8, 2005 Author Posted December 8, 2005 I'm going to the monthly area discerner's dinner and then attending Mass celebrated by the priests we'll be meeting with.
djc08 Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 Last night I lit the big candles (not votive candles the candles that are like the ones on the altar) that are on the Blessed Virgin and altar and someone seriously asked me why I lit those and not the ones on the St. Joseph Altar. I just stared at him.
philothea Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 I'm snowed in. But I will celebrate anyway.
MilesChristi Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 O God, who in the foreknowledge of thy Son's most precious death didst consecrate for him a dwelling-place by the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin : mercifully grant that she who was preserved from all defilement may evermore pray for us until we attain unto thee in purity of heart. All hail Mary, our most beautiful and loving Mother!
