King Kong

[shortnun]

I like Jack Black. I really respect Peter Jackson as a film maker. But the new [b]King Kong[/b] movie just looks [i]terrible[/i].

[homeschoolmom]

Hmmm... $10 an hour for a sitter... ($30)
$10 each for tickets... raisinettes, soda and nachos ($10)
for a total of $60, I think I'm going to pass...

[onathing1]

Actually, I'm really excited about this movie.haha. Seems like I'm the only one.lol.

[shortnun]

Apparently (by which I mean "according to the Today show") it's getting really good reviews.

[Brother Adam]

I have a free ticket and no kids, so I'm going to go see it. I"ll let ya' in on how it is (since I can't go see Narnia )

[annie]

We couldn't see Narnia either sold out---

I think the Kong Movie looks great, and I was NOT thrilled when I heard Peter Jackson chose it as his project after LOTR. I dunno, how could he make a BAD movie?

[Brother Adam]

Who says for sure it is going to be bad? But rumors are there is a script for The Hobbit....

[Theoketos]

King Kong is going to be a good movie. A great film meh...

[shortnun]

BUMP.... who's seen it?

[annie]

my 14 yr old dtr saw it, said it was too long, that they could have taken out 45 min of dinosaur wars, that it was boring. I am looking forward to seeing it though..

[Extra ecclesiam nulla salus]

But the dino battles were the cool part!

I wished they showed more of the giant bugs, though! Bugs are creepy.

[Myles Domini]

For money I'd be glad to go otherwise no. I've never been a fan of King Kong.

They were cool, but there was too much. It was overkill, They needed to space it out so we could appreciate each dino battle.

[jmjtina]
