He has a show on today abuot polomory, basically open relationships. Homo, hetero, swapping, ..... I hate to even bring it up but I'm so dang mad. He's defending this carp. Oh, you've all learned your values from repressive religion and monogamy isn't the best way. People used to get married for a year, maybe have a kid, and if they chose to break it up that was fine until religion came along and messed everything up. NOONE HAS THE COURAGE TO STAND UP AND SAY YOUR GOING TO HELL PEOPLE! YOUR SICK. GOD HATES SIN. GOD HATES DIVORCE. I wanted to put my hands through the tv screen and grab somebody and shake them up and call them stupid! Sorry. Just venting. Carry on.

Of course, he probably failed to point out that that would be devistating for women, who would generally be the ones raising the children, alone. One of two outcomes would be inevitable: more abortions and contraception, which would mean the extinction of that society, or virtually all women raising their children alone and virtually all children being raised without fathers. Is that really what he wants? Hasn't he seen the emotional devistation that occurs when children grow up without a parent?

who knows what the aclu says. all they come up with is nonsense anyway. of course, if it's bad and stupid, it probably did come from them. i don't understand how causing civil unrest somehow grants civil liberties. why can't these people ever get things straight? is it really that hard?

The new generation will know the devastation. When kids from single parents (or 'swinging' parents or openly drug using parents, ect) grow up, and have kids of their own, the cycle continues. It's just a vicious circle.
