philothea Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 I complain frequently about not being able to get to a church, due to where I live. Well, it appears there may be a solution... if only a few small opportunities will work out. I'm looking at a small condo in a large building in a downtown area. It's one block away from a very, very nice church. Right now, the church is being renovated though... so the daily mass has been moved to the condo building! : (If anyone reading knows the location I'm talking about, please do not mention it publicly.) It's also near everything else I need: fitness center, library, coffee shops. I've been stuck for 15 years in a wasteland. If I moved I'd finally be able to go to daily mass and regular confession. I could use some prayers, if it's God's will for my husband and I to move there, that we don't screw it up.
sweetpea316 Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 Ooh! I hope that works out!! Sounds great!
journeyman Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 prayers that it includes a high speed internet connection as well !!
djc08 Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 That's cool. I wish I could walk just a block and be at a church. Of course I would probably be there all the time and never get anything else done. Good luck and prayers.
philothea Posted December 18, 2005 Author Posted December 18, 2005 Thanks everyone! (Yes, I am excited.) (And I'm certain there will be broadband internet. Possibly even WiFi! Phatmass everywhere!!)
Colleen Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 That sounds awesome (especially being so close to Mass!)! I will pray for you.

journeyman Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 In the best example of Christian charity I can come up with, tomasio is not gloating, he's pointing out an ideal, into which he has located himself, but which has not yet reached the entire world.
