Epiphany in coon rapids has one. I know there are others but cant think of where offhand. I think your down south so this probably wasnt much help. St. John Neuman in Eagan has one as well. There just south of Pilot Knob and 35 W. http://www.sjn.org/bulletin/2005/12-18-05wk4a.pdf
zabbazooey Posted December 23, 2005 Author Posted December 23, 2005 Well I'm going to settle for 11pm
thessalonian Posted December 23, 2005 Posted December 23, 2005 Excuse me. I meant 35E and Pilot Knob.
zabbazooey Posted December 23, 2005 Author Posted December 23, 2005 Yeah the closest to us was St. Charles Borromeo in St. Anthony, MN. We're in Eden Prairie right next to Chanhassen
homeschoolmom Posted December 23, 2005 Posted December 23, 2005 We have one in Lakeville, but that's a little hike from Chanhassen.
Extra ecclesiam nulla salus Posted December 23, 2005 Posted December 23, 2005 I want to go to a Tridentine High Mass, for midnighnt mass. But i know my MOther would fall asleep so she doesn't want to go.... but we shall see.
zabbazooey Posted December 23, 2005 Author Posted December 23, 2005 We're going to 11pm Mass in Bloomington...the closest there is! Does it still fulfill my obligation?
Iacobus Posted December 23, 2005 Posted December 23, 2005 The Midnight Mass here is at 10 (I think, I should find out if I intend to go to it, being at school takes me out of the loop). I think when he said it was going to be at 10(:30 or whatever) here it was because the bishop schedulded the time (that is what it sounded like he said) so I think that the early-midnight masses would then be valid, I don't see why they wouldn't, esp because they have vigil masses. The only question would then be what readings to use, I think, but am not sure, that the midnight and vigil masses have different readings. I know the Midnight is different from the morning and there are three different sets of readings for Chirstmas depending on the time and I can't think of any divison other then vigil-midnight-morning. Or is there one at dawn and one in the morning? Or am I just running on in a long and boring series of run on senticences with poor spelling?
zabbazooey Posted December 23, 2005 Author Posted December 23, 2005 there's a really pretty church, but it's in spanish ... i know technically i could go, because the liturgy is the same .. but I'm not quite ready for that....
zabbazooey Posted December 23, 2005 Author Posted December 23, 2005 I've always gone at midnight (well ever since I converted) I didn't know there wasn't Mass at midnight
Proud2BCatholic139 Posted December 23, 2005 Posted December 23, 2005 St. Augustine's in South Saint Paul has one. Hm...I guess that doesn't help, does it?
