I'm eating some (double stuff) Oreos (tm) and just wondered how others enjoy theirs.

I typically partake via the third option.

I voted other ... my oreo-eating recipe:
1. Twist one oreo.
2. Scrape all the cream onto one side.
3. Take another oreo, repeat.
4. Put the two creamy sides together. Eat whole, flush with milk. Do not dunk.
5. Save non-creamy stumps for desperate, oreo-less hours of the night.

I realize this is actually just a manual creation of the Double Stuff oreo. But stripping the oreo eating ceremony of its ritual elements is totally demoralizing. It's just not the same.

I used to open them, scraps out (and enjoy) the filling and replace it with a marshmallow... I'd replace the lid and eat it whole. Now I just scrape and eat.

If I have milk, I dip and eat...

I eat them in small bites but without altering their makeup...

this is making me crave the chocolety, creamy goodness that is oreos

I take a whole bunch of them and a little milk and make cookie stew...high in fat and carbs, but oh, so delicious!

Do you actually cook it? That sounds vaguely gross.

When I was young, I was too poor to afford them. When I got older, I was too health conscious. I don't handle carbohydrates well, and I avoid trans fats (which have probably just now been removed from Oreos.)

I usualy do #3, but sometimes I like to dunk them in milk, and see how long it will take the cookie to reach the bottom of the glass.

usually 30 seconds. :P:

Wow. Abstaining from Oreos, for health reasons. I am hugely impressed :notworthy:
Philothea, I salute you!

I only eat the double stuffed kind. I am particularly fond of the season creme colors (red for Christmas; blue for spring; green for St. Patrick's day, etc).

"The Process:"
~ Twist off one side to cookie A
~ Twist off one side to cookie B
~ Place creme side of cookie A to creme side of cookie B... POOF- the quadruple stuffed oreo!!!
~ Dunk cookie in milk, if available
~ Enjoy- discard extra cookie pieces.

mmmmmmmm

My aunt gave me oreos dipped in dark chocolate for Christmas. :)

I dunk them into the milk until they get mushy, and then I eat 'em!

I take them apart, dunk the piece with less filling in milk, eat it, and then dunk the piece with more filling in milk and eat it. That's pretty much how I've always done it, lol.
