Sojourner Posted December 28, 2005 Posted December 28, 2005 Man Accused of Lobbing Urine Into Yards CLIVE, Iowa (AP) -- A Nebraska man has been arrested in central Iowa for allegedly delivering some unwanted Christmas gifts. Reno Tobler, 54, was arrested Thursday in Clive after police caught him lobbing urine bottles into backyards. "We've got a Grinch that has been lobbing urine," said Clive Police Chief Robert Cox. "Since this fall, we've had eight to 10 incidents reported where people have found containers full of urine thrown into their backyards." Tobler is a truck driver whose route regularly takes him to the Clive area. He was charged with littering and harassment for allegedly tossing detergent-sized bottles of his urine over fences. Tobler told police that it was a longtime hobby of his to deliver the bottles. Police searched his vehicle and found several other urine-filled bottles Tobler was taken to the Polk County Jail and was released on a $500 bond.
Sojourner Posted December 28, 2005 Author Posted December 28, 2005 Good, I'm glad HSSon isn't into delivering "trucker bombs" ... I'm sort of disturbed that this dude told police that this was his "longtime hobby" .... WHO DOES THAT!!!!! What mental processes do you have to go through to justify throwing bottles of urine in someone's back yard?!?!?!?!? I can sort of understand tossing them out the window when you're driving ... but to deliberately go to someone's house and throw it in their back yard ... that's just RUDE.
homeschoolmom Posted December 28, 2005 Posted December 28, 2005 Let's see..... golf? reading? woodcarving? birdwatching? chess? cross country skiing? Nope... I'm going to be a pee-flinger... That doesn't sound like a very good hobby.

Jaime Posted December 28, 2005 Posted December 28, 2005 I wonder how long it takes to fill a detergent sized bottle? I spend an inordinate amount of time in Clive. I bet I've driven down the route the trucker takes.

Sojourner Posted December 28, 2005 Author Posted December 28, 2005 I bet four or five times would do the trick for a detergent-sized bottle. I once asked a urologist about this ... he said when your bladder feels very full -- when you really have to go -- it's got 10 to 12 oz. in it on average. I wonder if you've ever seen this trucker?
