but honestly though, sometimes it seems like we just want to say good thing but not the truth to help the person which in fact is more charitable than just saying "oh i really love that song" or whatever and then privately saying what we didn't like and what we think should be improved.

more than anything, the artist needs to know what he needs to do to make his songs, etc. even better before his album comes out so it can be the best it can be for all of us. :

i like that idea... but would that not leave some extra room at the top and bottom that might look kinda... odd? i guess i like having the writing at the top and bottom but im sure it would look good.
