gonzaga Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 Yeah, watch it sometimes, although some of the shows look so dated and not very good quality...
OLAM Dad Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 We don't have TV so I didn't vote but I love EWTN when I'm able to watch it. We listen to it constantly on Sirius though.
daugher-of-Mary Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 We don't have tv either, so no. I would if I could though! My grandfather tapes the Sisters when they are on Life on the Rock, so I get to see those episodes.
jgirl Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 I watch it from time to time, but very infrequently. If I flip through the channel and something looks interesting, I stay, but if not, then I flip it.
shortnun Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 I would say occasionally. When I was in undergrad, we got it on our tvs in the dorms. I watched all the covereage with JPII and the conclave. My parents don't get it at home, for some strange reason. I guess they live too far into the Bible Belt. I do get it in my apt now, but it's very fuzzy. So I don't watch it all that often.
Dust's Sister Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 I watch it sometimes, I like the show where they have that questions/ and answer show with the 2 priests, I don't know the name of it
alicemary Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 Can't get it on my cable system. Before I could and used to enjoy Mass each day with the Nuns. I really loved that. Now, of course, the Mass is just with the brothers and priests, and really lacks the beautiful music that the nuns provided.

God the Father Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 (edited) Hah, I don't even have cable. I'm more ghetto than everybody but OLAM Dad and daughter-of-mary. In the heezy. Edited January 2, 2006 by God the Father
philothea Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 Used to watch it constantly... but that was 15 years ago. I don't receive cable/dish/broadcast TV.
scardella Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 I watch it on occasion. Usually the aesthetics bother the heck out of me, for some reason. It just looks like it's lost in some 80's low budget set with inadequate lighting... The shows just seem like they'd be better for the radio, and when I could get that, I enjoyed it. For the most part, it seems like the video doesn't add to the value of the content all that much.

prose Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 I don't have it, so I don't watch it. I had it as an add on to my cable before. I thought I would watch it all the time, but, no offense, I found many of the programs were low quality and annoying to watch. I was kinda sad that it wasn't better. Many shows looked like 1970-80s television. Focus wasn't sharp, colors were dull. I know that it is the content that is important, but it would seriously make me think that this is why people think the Catholic Church is stuck in the past... Like watching those videotapes in baptism prep courses. Always outdated hairstyles, etc. How can people take it seriously without being able to relate to what they see on the screen?? I watched the two priests, but that was about it. I think I saw a conversation with Scott Hahn once too. I don't think I will ever reorder it.
Paladin D Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 Sometimes, because I can only watch it on the net.
