Today is Jan. 2. I live in Indiana. And it's warmer outside than it is in my house. I have my front door open, hoping I can get a warm-ish breeze and some fresh air through the place.

So, so bizarre.

77 degrees here...
New Orleans.

Winter ranges from highs in the 70's to highs in the 40's here, usually highs in the upper 50's... so...

These days are nice, though!

It's supposedly 63 out today. Which is just odd for this time of year. We've also got a severe thunderstorm watch, which could mean tornadoes. My housemate will be watching the Weather channel tonight.

I should probably go for a bike ride ... too nice to waste this warm weather inside.

I saw on the news a few days ago that y'all were having fires ... this is an odd time of year for that, isn't it?

I'm in Ohio and it is weird weather for this time of year. It's close to 50 today and has been raining for the past week or so. We haven't had snow since a week before Christmas. They are predicting the temperature to plummet into the 30s on Thursday and for it to snow. Northeastern Ohio weather is odd.

It's now thundering and quite dark. I don't hear any train-like noises yet. Or sirens.

i think so... but i honestly dont know. its been really dry, we're way behind in rain. so i guess if you consider that... then no. its kind of scary.. but i dont live too close (or close at all really) to these fires so im more scared for other people.

pray for the safety of the fire fighters and those who are close to the fires! we had a whole city evacuate yesterday! :ohno:

We live in Michigan, and we haven't had any sun for 20 some days...... it is dark all day! Very difficult time of year, and unusual not to have SOME sun.... I feel we are all being shown something out of the ordinary by God. It gets attention! God Bless

We had a nasty thunderstorm early this morning. We actually had a tornado warning, but we get so many of those in Missouri, we know when to be scared enough to go into the basement, and this morning didn't warrant it. I did watch tv though until they passed around 5:10.

When I was born, they had a freak thunderstorm/Blizzard combination, which made the blizzard even worse. I wish I could have remembered that one.

I noticed the pavement was wet outside this morning, buuuuuuut I never heard any rain or thunder.... guess I'm a heavy sleeper. But yeah, the weather's unusually warm. Although I love cold weather, if it stays like this my heating bill will be more affordable!

We had some thunderstorms here, too, today. It's fun to be awoken by a big clap of thunder.
