I think they probably meant that you have more African features. For instance, African, Asian, and European hair are each different because the strands are differently shaped, resulting in straighter hair among Asians, wavy hair among Europeans, and curly hair among Africans (these are generalities, nowadays, since there's been so much cultural mixture, though). I learned that from the encyclopedia. :

I think it's the eyes. You have very large eyes, which in my experience seems to be a more African trait.

However, you obviously don't look black...you're white. :

It's the Native American features. A lot of Black people in America have Native American blood, and of course Hispanics do, which is why you get both of those responses. Something about the shape of the eyes and high cheekbones.
