lilac_angel Posted December 13, 2003 Posted December 13, 2003 (edited) I got a couple of little signs today as I was praying the Rosary along with my Rosary CD on the bus. As the Fatima prayer was being said, just as I said "Heaven" in the phrase "lead all souls to Heaven," we rounded a bend and the sky looked absolutely glorious. There were huge, heavenly rays of sunlight beaming down from a large gap in the glouds. I also noticed another lady looking up at it. An even cooler sign I got today on the bus was during the prayer litany after the Rosary. This is where after the Rosary, they say things like, "St. Joseph, pray for us. St. Jude, pray for us." Well, the instant that "St. Joseph" was said, we passed a sign featuring the Holy Family -- featuring St. Joseph, Mary, and the infant Jesus. My eyes literally fell on St. Joseph as soon as his name was said on the CD. I smiled whenever that happened. :gotee: My dad gets lots of signs too, and it's always cool to hear about them. Ash Wednesday Posted December 13, 2003 Posted December 13, 2003 Yeah!!!!!! I love little things like that. One time I was selling encyclopedias door to door in Texas (i have a lot of stories with that... HA HA) and I had a Mary medal around my neck. I came upon a house and the man answered the door and was so overjoyed to see me, God used me as a little "sign" for him because he said he had just finished saying the rosary and I came to the door, and he saw I had a miraculous medal on. :banana:

Like the one night I dreamed I found one on the ground, and the very next day I received one in the mail. I must have sent away for one a while ago before that, but I wasn't expecting it at all... My fiance found a Miraculous Medal once (on the ground like in my dream), before he even became a believing Catholic...even though he wasn't practicing the Faith he held onto it...then later on (after we met, later on got more involved with the Faith, and I obtained a Miraculous Medal) we saw the significance of it...

Ash Wednesday Posted December 13, 2003 Posted December 13, 2003 Gosh....... I "rotate" ... I don't wear it all the time. A lot of times I don't wear necklaces at all because my skin is sensitive and gets rashy at times. If I wore all the medals that I loved and adored I would probably look like Mr. T. Yes, help! I am ADDICTED to the bouncer and the banana!!!!!!!!!! :banana:

phatcatholic Posted December 13, 2003 Posted December 13, 2003 i always recieve signs that keep me from sinning. like, i'll go to do something i shouldn't do, and something will impede me. then i am instantly humbled and overwhelmed by my sinfulness. i immediatly thank God for those signs. they show me that He cares for me and He wants to protect me so that i can be w/ Him. i have also found that my days go better when i wear my scapular. i feel empty when i'm going thru my day and then i realize i don't have it on. i just feel more protected w/ it on, even though i know that we are not to look at it w/ superstition. (trust me, i've done the research.....thanks to my good pal dan corner). God is GOOD phatcatholic
M.SIGGA Posted December 13, 2003 Posted December 13, 2003 Once I was going through some serious drama in high school and I was having some serious doubts about God and whether or not he was listening to me, and I was sitting in front of my computer and I called out to God to send me some kind of sign that he was listening to my prayer and that I wasn't basically talking to myself. Well right then my webshots pic changed to an icon pic of Jesus holding the Bible and it stared at me for a couple of secs before my screen turned off and my computer shut off by itself. Webshots backgrounds change every 5 minutes and I apparently downloaded a icon pic of Jesus by accident while I was saving pictures from Cyprus and Greece. It really scared me when it happened, and I had to laugh it off. God really works in mysterious ways!

Peace thanks LD! your the best. i mean my grammer stinks and my spelling and stuff is even worse! and you guys still understand me..! LOL as for the scapular, i always have mine on, too, and i know when i do not have one on, i feel weird, and like something is missing. and i have a habit of always reaching and grabbign my scapuler for no reason at all at times thru the day, its what makes me whole. and i dont feel comfortable, nor safe until i have one on again. the scapular is something beautiful! thank you God and our BLessed Mother Mary, for loving us and giving us the gift of the scapular, and the blessing and promise it comes with so that we are able to show our love and faith through wearing a badge of our love through something so simple but something so special and full of honor and pride for You everyday!!
