Brother Adam Posted January 22, 2006 Author Posted January 22, 2006 L_D, it would be interesting to see you excell to the level of professor one day. You certianly have the brains to make it! The depth of this theology, or history of theology, is altogether almost completely new to me.
Laudate_Dominum Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Thank you Adam. But at the rate I'm going I'll be a professor just in time for retirement. *sigh*
journeyman Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 You guys are so far over my head, you might as well be speaking Greek. I thought Raphael's idea on scrupulosity and confession (reconciliation) had a nice useful pastoral focus . . . if we understood the sacrament better, then maybe we won't feel so uncertain about the results (and potentially, the scrupulous would worry about something else (like poverty, hunger or lack of vocations))
Fides_et_Ratio Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 I vote for Ratzinger's Truth and Tolerance. (though too bad he didn't let you pick "Called to Communion"... I like it better than "Pilgrim Fellowship of Faith")
