Guest Rick777 Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Okay men make yourself known! Who here thinks the Gladiator was one of the best movies ever made?
DemonSlayer Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 It was okay, but it really wasn't that great.
Fearful 1 Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006
Okay men make yourself known
I'm not a man but... I loved it. I thought it was a beautiful movie...I thought the cinematography was really spectacular. I loved the story, and I thought Joaquin Phoenix did an outstanding job in his role. It is one of my all-time favorites.

YMNolan Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 I'm not going to lie and say the movie wasn't good, but Russel Crowe is a tool shed. I can't bring myself to root for that guy!

philothea Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Well... I'm not a man... But I loved Gladiatior!
Guest Rick777 Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 My dad sat next to Joaquin Phoenix at a Giants game once.......I was sick.
Fearful 1 Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 I love Joaquin....especially in Walk the Line...but that's off topic here.
God the Father Posted January 26, 2006 Posted January 26, 2006 zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Anonymous User Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 I'll take the criticism for this, but I liked Kingdom of Heaven far more. It may not be 100% historically accurate, and Orlando can irritate at times, but what a great story. Pretty much the same storyline as Gladiator when you think about it, for replay value KOH shades it for me.
Christie_M Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 there was something very wrong with the emporer.

We all laughed. That actor did a great job. I wanted to kill him myself!
