shortnun Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 Well, the retreat is in full-swing. I wonder how many women went. I wonder if Sr. Carly is giving her vocation testimony. PRAYERS for all the women there!
OLAM Dad Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 I talked to Sr. Gemma this morning. They have a 'smaller' turnout this year than they normally do, 80 - 90 girls. She said that she was happy that there would be a more intimate retreat this year. Holy cow... 80+ girls is chaos where I come from.

TheresaMF Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 80 is awesome--there were 150 (plus or minus 20) on the Feb. retreat. I wish I could be there this weekend, as they have an awesome priest and I really want to see their chapel, but I'm busy. Prayers instead.
FutureSoror Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Yeah, I wish I could be there too! Something wierd happened with my flight. I got to the airport and the airlines didn't have a record of my reservation. It turns out Expedia never processed my transaction, but still gave me a form of confirmation. The flight was reserved, but not paid for. Soo... I am here!
magnificat Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 That's too bad FutureSoror...i bet it's a disappointment not to be able to go!
OLAM Dad Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Kristina hasn't called yet so I'm not sure how things went. I'll let you know ASAP.
