I was not aware we have a notacible accent? How would you describe it?

Anyhow, I know I'm not one for the married life...and I'm still trying to figure out whether the consecrated life is for me....either way, I do not plan on getting married.

I would describe it like they have something in their mouth, and over annuciate to compensate...
yeah... weird analogy,
but the South African accent is very proper, with this lovely roundness on the vowels.
I have a classmate, and no one can guess her accent at first, but they always compliment her on it.

Yeah, it's crazy, I may be a bridesmaid in a wedding?

Well, that would be interesting, but, I don't know if I would want too. We shall see.

I see myself getting married in my early 20's or mid 20's. In a traditional Roman Catholic Church. :)

isn't an english accent one of the best?
my list
1. my boyfriend's pennsylvanian's accent
2. british
3. australian (cultured kind, i guess)
4. south african
5. french (not those silly french canadians either with their weir pronunciations)

we have accents?

Is that like a Philly/Jersey accent or Pensylvania Dutch (Amish) accent? Or what. My mum's from Philly.

I am not getting married on here, I'd prefer in a Church

indescribable

more of a pennsylvania dutch accent i guess. its a little bit more refined than the occasional hick down here in indiana. both of his parents are in radio so i would guess its quite pleasant

I think I'll be ready to be married sooner than most, because I've found a man that I can love until I die. I never thought I would be close to thinking of marrying when I was 18. Now I'm approaching my 20's and it doesn't seem scary at all.

I guess its because I don't see marriage as something that will complete me, I see it as something as powerful as receiving a love that will get me to heaven, and reciprocating that love.

While I wouldn't tell someone to date in their teens, I wouldn't discourage them if they were at least 18.

wait... you're trying to beat me aren't you? I told you my wedding was scheduled for 1-23-08... and now you're trying to beat me!! :annoyed:

we'll just see about that!

(and yes, I do consider it a race to get married before all aquaintances of mine do)

anyway, I consider the perfect marriage age to be about 16-19 for a guy and 14-18 for a girl. It is absolutely the nuttiest thing in the modern world to think age 18 is when we should start thinking about marriage.

and this girl's slowing me down in the race! I'm gonna be 20 when I get married due to her insistence to push it back!! argh!! At least I'm pretty sure I'm still gonna beat my brothers and friends!! mwahahaha

I'm so sick of that as well. Up until recently, I've always lost my head over one guy or the next. but I had a reality check during Holy Week and I'd rather be friends with guys and concentrate on loving and serving God and doing well in school and stuff. But when my girl friends all talk about how cute guys are and complain about how ugly they are (even though they are really pretty), I feel sad for them because they have so much potential and so much good about them that they could be living to the fullest but they get hung up over their looks and guys. :(
