Andrea348 Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 and they even mention phatmass in their "About the Nuns" section!!!!
FutureSoror Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 Wow, that's great to see! (that they have a web page now)
Piccoli Fiori JMJ Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 Wonderful to see they finally got a website! I know they had said at one point that a friend was working on one.
brandelynmarie Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 (edited) How cool is that! The descriptions are well-written... My only complaint...(& yes, I know you can see them on xanga) is that they do not have any photos of themselves on the website (even distant, blurry ones)... Edited May 19, 2006 by brandelynmarie
alicemary Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 I just checked their website and looks like they added a first page with the picture of the three of them
brandelynmarie Posted May 20, 2006 Posted May 20, 2006 ah! my bad! I'm on dial-up & I didn't let the page fully load...I thought there was one more postulant though...
Sixtina87 Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 SO far it looks okay, but not to judge it just needs more and more work!!! The FSGM webiste kicks butt!!! If simple is the word the SSEW website is da bomb!!!!
Piccoli Fiori JMJ Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 It is a simple website, and all that they need I am sure. I pray that this will help bring vocations to their community.
brendan1104 Posted June 26, 2006 Author Posted June 26, 2006 www.geocities.com/lockportdominicans nice new pics and text
brendan1104 Posted July 28, 2006 Author Posted July 28, 2006 (edited) Pham: With the Lockport Dominicans' permission, I created/published a Geocities site for them and edited their Wikipedia page. For whatever reason(s)- which I don't question or even know- the Sisters e-mailed me earlier today asking to delete the Geocities and Wikipedia entries. I was more than happy to oblige them, doing whatever I can to help- especially as they re-found. The Lockport community is truly a fervent house, following the Rule of St. Augustine, the Constitutions of the Nuns of the Order of Preachers and the other regular observances. Pray for more vocations to the Monastery of the Heart of Jesus! I highly recommend to continue visiting their xanga: www.xanga.com/ldominican. If you would like to request prayers or ask any questions, etc. their Vocations Directress, Sr. Mary Imelda of the Holy Eucharist, O.P. will glady receive your e-mails at: ldominican@aol.com OK? -Brendan Edited July 28, 2006 by brendan1104

I wonder why they asked you to remove it, since it was a beautiful site. Edited July 28, 2006 by Deborah
