Wonderful to see they finally got a website! I know they had said at one point that a friend was working on one.

:bounce: How cool is that! The descriptions are well-written...

My only complaint...(& yes, I know you can see them on xanga) is that they do not have any photos of themselves on the website (even distant, blurry ones)... Edited by brandelynmarie

I just checked their website and looks like they added a first page with the picture of the three of them

It is a simple website, and all that they need I am sure. I pray that this will help bring vocations to their community.

Pham:

With the Lockport Dominicans' permission, I created/published a Geocities site for them and edited their Wikipedia page.

For whatever reason(s)- which I don't question or even know- the Sisters e-mailed me earlier today asking to delete the Geocities and Wikipedia entries. I was more than happy to oblige them, doing whatever I can to help- especially as they re-found.

The Lockport community is truly a fervent house, following the Rule of St. Augustine, the Constitutions of the Nuns of the Order of Preachers and the other regular observances. Pray for more vocations to the Monastery of the Heart of Jesus!

I highly recommend to continue visiting their xanga: www.xanga.com/ldominican. If you would like to request prayers or ask any questions, etc. their Vocations Directress, Sr. Mary Imelda of the Holy Eucharist, O.P. will glady receive your e-mails at: ldominican@aol.com

OK?

Hmmm...That seems odd. I wonder why they asked you to remove it, since it was a beautiful site.
