[/quote] I'm far past the single young woman stage but.... I see young men with long-ish hair here and there. More often than not it's straggly/greasy or completely in their eyes. I mean this particular young man looked like a Disney version of The Shaggy Dog. I still don't understand how he could see. So if you grow your hair out think of these things: Will it hinder future employment or college interviews? Keep it clean at all times..and take the advice to have it cut into some sort of managable look. Always...always keep the hair out of the eyes! Be sure it is an appropriate occasion to "let it all down". At church, work, or class, have it tied back discreetly and neatly. Prove that one doesn't have to be a follower [the goth or the druggie-drop-out look] by dressing cleanly. Young women do not want some nasty-looking long haired guy.
