Ziggamafu Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 Ok, I know I can count on you guys for this... My brother-in-law is attending a Oneness Pentacostal church and thinks the only difference between "Trinity" and "Just Jesus" is the wording. He doesn't understand the Tradition, Scripture, meaning, or impact of this all important doctrine. My question is this: what is your single best web-link on this subject? I'm talking the best you've ever read; quick, efficient, and to the point. He is a software engineer so he is all about time, efficiency, and logic. No fluff, no build-up. I think if I can get him to read one solid article (or if there's something more entertaining like a flash presentation or something) and it makes sense and he see's the benefit, he will believe.
phatcatholic Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 this article is efficient, w/o skimping on content: --How to Defend the Trinity it looks like ur best bet, but i'll keep looking......

Myles Domini Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 Something technical to add weight to the link Phatty provided The Holy Trinity; St Thomas Aquinas. Also St Gregory of Nyssa's On "Not Three Gods" offers an argument based in both scripture and philosophy from a slightly different perspective. I'm sure having seen the links for yourself you will be able to decide which is more apt in this instance.
Ziggamafu Posted May 31, 2006 Author Posted May 31, 2006 Ok, I gave him the links (Aquinas and Pillar of Fire & Truth). Now we just have to pray. Thanks guys!
