What corporations & charities support Planned Parenthood and abort

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

I just found a statement by the Life Decisions Internations (LDI), which stated companies that are boycott targets because of their support of Planned Parenthood, the main provider of abortions. It is estimated that LDI has cost Planned Parenthood $35 million in 14 years.

Companies appearing on the boycott list for the first time:

Altria (Phillip Morris, Nabisco, Kraft products, Post cereals)
Circuit CityCost Plus World Market (retail stores)
Price Chopper/Mini Chopper (supermarkets)
New World Restaurant (Chesapeake Bagel Bakery, Einstein Bros Bagels, etc.)
Nike
Tommy Hifiger

Just a sample of other companies on the list for supporting the abortion provider:

Walt Disney
Pfizer
J. P. Morgan Chase (including Chase Manhattan Bank & Bank One)
Johnson & Johnson
CIGNAT
The New York Times
Microsoft
Levi
Strauss
Patagonia
Whole Foods Market.

These are charitable groups that the LDI identified to have been associating with Planned Parenthood:
The American Cancer Society
Camp Fire
The Dr. Phil Foundation
Girls Inc.
Girl Scouts
Rotary Clubs
The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation
YWCA

Because of LDI, at least 135 corporations have stopped funding Planned Parenthood! :saint:

Please join me in boycotting these companies and standing up for the right of another's life. We are all God's children - let us put God first evermore.

Thank you so much for this list.

Nick, can we get a running hit list posted?

American Cancer Society? Great, I just did a week's worth of volunteering there a few weeks ago. I specifically researched them and found nothing wrong. I wonder how they are affiliated...

Does anyone know if United Way supports Planned Parenthood. I read on a United Way site the following.
In August of 1995, the United Way and Planned Parenthood of Northern New England jointly agreed to change Planned Parenthood's United Way status from member to "Affiliate for Donor Designations Only." This means that Planned Parenthood only receives United Way funding from donors who write on their pledge card that they wish part of their contributions to go to Planned Parenthood. If a donor does not designate Planned Parenthood on his or her pledge card, then none of that donor's money will go to Planned Parenthood.
But I have read on other sites, that United Way supports Planned Parenthood, with funds and other types of support. Does anyone know what the deal is with United Way and Planned Parenthood.

God Bless

I don't have exact statistics, but everything that I've read before states that they do support Planned Parenthood.

I don't mean to hijack this thread but I have a question. We all agree that downloading software or music illegaly isn't right but, for example, if Microsoft supports Planned Parenthood then isn't it ok to download windows instead of buying it? I mean its not like there are an real alternatives since like most PC's will only work with windows. So?

I don't think so. It's still theft. Download a free version of Linux with a Windows emulator instead.

The thing with United Way is that it depends on your local United Way. Each handles their finances pretty independently of the national group, so some donate to PP and some don't.

Also, the same is true with the Girl Scout affiliation. There has been no association with the national office, but some Girl Scout troops have accepted PP's offer to do "educational courses" for them.

Microsoft is a huge abortion supporter!

According to today's LifeNews Report, Warren Buffett, the CEO of Berkshire Hathaway and the second richest man in the world, will donate 80% of his fortune to the pro-abortion foundation set up by Microsoft founder Bill Gates and his wife. Buffett plans to give them 12,050,000 in Class B shares of Berkshire Hathaway. One share sells for $3,000, and this would give the Gates foundation another $37 billion.

The Gates Foundation has given the Planned Parenthood Federation of America almost $12.5 million since 1998. These funds are used to persuade teenagers to support abortion as well as advance abortion in the United Nations. The International Planned Parenthood abortion business has received almost $21 million from the Gates foundation over the last seven years. These funds were used to kill unborn babies in third world countries.

This is horrible, horrible news. I ask you to contact the Gates Foundation and urge it to stop supporting Planned Parenthood and abortion.

That list you've posted along covers so many different companies. it would be really time consuming to boycott them all! :( I don't think I could ever be coordinated enough!

Let's make a list of companies that support pro-life causes then! :saint:

First, I'll put Curves on that list. You can read about it here:

http://acatholiclife.blogspot.com/2006/07/...ave-babies.html

I believe the founder of Dominos Pizza also is a devout Catholic that funds pro-life causes.

Add Starbucks to the hit list. I don't know for sure, but I have heard from sources I trust that they donate to PP.

Benedict-The founder of Dominos Pizza is a devout Catholic (Dominos was meant to hint at "of the Lord" [hence Domino's] The domino symbol appeared when he sold the company.
Anyway, he's the main funder behind Ave Maria University and the new town they're building.
