chickens4life Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006
canadians sounds better.
I agree.
Didacus Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 I don't really mind either way. I'm not very patriotic at all anymore. Since Canada won the bronze medal in the moron's olympics by giving homosexuals the right to marry you can call us pretty much anything (Californian?) and it wouldn't insult me anymore.
Lisieux Flower Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 how did you make a poll in the lame board?

jeffpugh Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 Yeah, or make them pies. Or make a thread before in 2007. Mine was the last of the lame polls... or it was T-Bone's... cause he abused it epically.
T-Bone _ Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 They should be called Canadians, but they should change the name of the country to "Canadia"...
Apotheoun Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 Canadians should come from Canadia, and Canadans should come from Canada.

missionseeker Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 I just wanna know why they decided to put Canada so far away from Florida! What's up with that????
Didacus Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 If you had a nation named after yourself, how would we refer to people who lived there?
Adrestia Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009
I just wanna know why they decided to put Canada so far away from Florida! What's up with that????
It's a conspiracy man, C-O-N-spiracy...
Guest tabarnak9 Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 The word Canada comes from the word Kanata. Which in, I believe Algonquian, means "Our Home." The story goes that the European explorers asked the First Nations people, "what do you call this country, your homeland?" They replied, "Kanata." Translation our Home. Canadia would not be appropriate since Canada's first people never refered to their home as Canadia.
