Don't mean to rain on your parade, but somehow I REALLY doubt that. Mother has many admirable qualities and has done an enormous amount of good for the Church, but she is not now nor ever could be a Mother Teresa.

Moreover, why should Mother Angelica be like Mother Teresa (more specifically that that they're both women, Catholic, nuns, and outstanding people)? Clearly God has called them to two different paths of life, and I'm not sure it's sensible or advisable to compare them like that.

Agreed, nor could Mother Teresa have ever been a Mother Angelica. (Totally different charisms)

For one, she was a "missionary" in the heart of the deep south---trust me, I grew up in AL. about an hour from them. At that time, it wasn't exactly a place overflowing with Catholics or with people who were **tolerant** of Catholics. To me, the nuns going there was an act of love and courage for the people of Alabama. There was a scattering of Catholic Churches, but she made the presence FELT. I am convinced that one day it will come to light that many conversions in the south was due to their presence, prayers, and the evangelization through EWTN.

Each person has their particular journey to walk with Jesus. Mother Teresa walked hers, just as Mother Angelica is now making the journey down her path. It does not mean one is bad and the other is good. They simply walked where Jesus led.
