FutureSoror Posted August 23, 2006 Author Share Posted August 23, 2006 (edited) 5 days until I leave. (My family and I are leaving late Sunday night.) Today was amazing. This morning I really got the jitters for the first time, packing up my things. Of course I've had ups and downs before, but this felt quite different. However, I spent time with friends after choir practice this evening and got lots of hugs. It made me very happy... I'm not sure it's sinking in yet. One of my friends' mother gave me a book called "Listen Sister..." It was printed in 1952. Comprised of a series of simple, easy meditations aimed at leading a sister to perfection, the book is invaluable. I LOVE it. A holy hour with Jesus in adoration just made it better... One funny thing is that I thought my room would be practically empty by now.....but it's still as messy as ever! I didn't get around to giving [i]everything[/i] away that I meant to.
