For Protestants and Catholics (and other Christians)...... Rather than polemics, let's have a practical thread....

How can we better follow Christ and be the Body of Christ in the world????

List your constructive ideas!!


Here are 10 I came up with quickly:

1) Share the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins in a fallen world.
2) Show love to the poor in Spirit (those broken by divorce, abuse, tough times, etc.)
3) Go on a short term missions project.
4) Befriend full time Christian ministers (lay, religious, priests, Campus Crusade missionaries, etc.)
5) Turn in prayer to ask God to show you what paths he would want you to take.
6) Genuinely love your enemy.
7) See Christ in others and be Christ to others.
8) Exercise humility even when ()*$)() people drive you crazy!!!
9) Work for practical ecumenism: pro-life ministries, assist Evangelists, attend ecumenical praise services.
10) Love God and grow in holiness as a wonderful act of worship to God who loved us so much, he sent his
one and only son to die for our sins!

Practice charity at all times. Praise God always, then you won't have time to complain.
