Probably because it seemed like too many people were "glorying" in having done it rather than people actually discussing it and its effects.

If you guys can give us a compelling reason to re-open the discussion we'll do so. The thing is, we don't want a few people advocating drug use and nothing else being said (I know most people in that thread said they didn't do drugs, but when a post shows up that says they think its ok and no one says anything contrary to that for over 24 hours??? whats up with that?). If you want to discuss a serious topic like that, as fearundercontrol said, it should be a discussion of drug use and its effects... not just things like "if you get the munchies make sure its healthy." We have had discussions about drugs here on phatmass in the past, and there are very strong opinions that come with the topic (some for, some against).

Give us a good reason and then discuss the topic seriously. Thats all I'm askin'. We definately think that you should be discussing things that have an impact on your daily lives, be it drugs, booze, or whatever, but those kinds of topics should be handled with the same ammount of gravity as the impact they can have on your soul.

Yeah, so one guy wrote his guidelines for drugs and no one responded positively or negatively. Actually i take that back, sidemunch rebutted his proposal that you can smoke in moderation. but w/e. close the thread, close anything where any one person says something that disagrees with you.
