The wars are not for hatred, they're to establish order in the Middle East so that they can eventually control the fanatics in their own countries and cut down on terrorism. We were greatly provoked after 9/11, but we acted rationally and calmly (yet swiftly.)

I have a certain respect for Osama. He sincerely believes he is doing God's will, and might be willing to die for it.

Objectively, he obviously isn't doing God's true will.

But subjectively, I think he [i]is[/i] following his [b]conscience[/b]...even though his conscience is [i]gravely[/i] [u]malformed[/u]. But that's not his fault, it's the people who conditioned him that way and his culture.

People should try to form their consciences correctly, according to Truth. But some people's consciences (due to lack of good example and teaching) form gravely wrong. These people are still obligated to follow their consciences.

I mean, obviously, if you sincerely believe that something is right...you are obligated to do it.
