Budge,

Before I converted, the church I belonged to did full immersion baptism. Does yours do this? I remember the pastor got so long winded I plum near passed out before he let me up <_< I'm really interested in what you and your church believes. I hope all is well with you!

No, I do not believe it is necessary for salvation.

The thief on the cross was never baptized.
baptism is a public ordinance to show others your new found faith in Jesus Christ.

One does not become born again via being splashed, else why shouldnt a priest go to a public swimming pool and baptize all the heathens?
