I don't know that there are ratings for who are better, the Swiss Guard, the Secret Service, or the CIA, but I am positive that they are all at least in the same league... and you haven't seen the president killed yet so I wouldn't expect the pope to be killed either.

Calm down a little, alone are some thousands of Moslems the ones that have insulted al Pope, the threats come from the terrorists, not of all the Moslems. It weights al intent of the radicals by manipulating them to all.

Let's not forget the Pope's subject in that speech: reason, not violence, must the basis for interreligious dialogue. If we even have the mindset that we're out to "win the fight" against them and not come to a reasonable agreement on religious freedom, we're no better than the radical Muslims.

Yes, precisely. Just because some people misunderstood (some on purpose) what the Pope said, doesn't mean we should also. The media blew everything WAY out of proportion... maybe to liven up the story? Idiots.

If this is Islam's idea of dialogue then there is something slightly askew here.

They threaten voilence for a decent apology.

Will they apologize for threatening violence on the Pope and all peaceful Christians? What was said that was sooooo horrible, what was said that wasnt true?
