For Mercy

I am poor and disabled, and I praise God in my poverty and my struggles because he has made me truly rich.

There are people I know, who have always mocked me. They ridicule what I eat and what I wear, because I am poor, and they mock my disability. I had thought that one had befriended me, but his friendship was false, and motivated by malice. He wishes me evil and he hopes to triumph against me, so that I may always be poor and in poor health.

I am a sinner as is he, and it scares me to pray for justice, but I am afraid for their souls, especially the one who betrayed me. I think God must intervene, or this poor soul has no hope of salvation, and what shaken faith I will have if He doesn't.

Please pray that God have mercy on him and me alike, and that He does whatever necessary to save this poor sinner from perdition.
