Welcome back. I am kinda new here. I checked your posts. You are 50+, raised Ba[u]b[/u]tist but now Evangelical?

I am 29, 3 kids. Wife and I are converts (protestant and Assembly of God).

I'm 23, graduated college a year and a half ago, now do campus ministry full-time.


Raised Catholic, born-again at 19.


i looked at my posts to see where you got that info from, and i saw where i would have come off like that.....

if i remember correctly, that was some kind of discussion about the rapper "50 Cent," hence the "50 was raised baptist" line. honest mistake.

Age does not equal maturity. I have met few preteens more mature than some 50 year olds.

I haven't memorized the entire bible and verses but I do know that the Catholic Catechism teaches that when a person is baptized, the soul is reborn into the church of Christ, born as an adopted child of God. Anyone else know exactly where it says that?

Stick with it. I'm ex-catholic now, (formally known as jasJis). The born again thing is the theological understanding of spiritual rebirth via the graces of batptism.
