Era Might Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 I was flipping through St. Faustina's diary yesterday, and came across this message from Our Lord: [quote]I bear a special love for Poland, and if she will be obedient to My will, I will exalt her in might and holiness. From her will come forth the spark that will prepare the world for My final coming.[/quote] Could this be a reference to Pope John Paul II? He was definitely a "spark", and the fact that he was a Polish Pope was a huge deal at the time; consider also that he was a huge proponent of St. Faustina's revelations, and formally created "Divine Mercy Sunday". Also consider that he died on the vigil of Divine Mercy Sunday, and then tie this in with the special apparitions we have received in recent history, especially Fatima which was all about conversion, and which contained the third secret which foretold the attempted assasination of Pope John Paul II. If it is a reference to JP2, that means he was sent to prepare the world for Our Lord's final coming, which means the final coming must be in the not-too-distant future. Maybe it's not JP2. But it's an interesting coincidence!

However, don't forget that the early Christians thought that Jesus was going to return in their lifetime. So while John Paul II may have been the "spark", it could be the spark leading to a very soon coming, or it could have been an influence that takes a thousand years to come to completion. ~Katie

[/quote] Scientists have a hard enough time predicting asteroids less than a year away from possible impact, how could they predict one over 30 years away
